What gets migrated
- Master data — customers, suppliers, products, chart of accounts.
- Open transactions — invoices, POs, stock movements, AR/AP balances.
- Historical data — optional, often imported as summary rather than transaction-by-transaction.
Process
- Discovery week — data dump received, profiled, mapping agreed.
- Sandbox migration — runs into a sandbox tenant. Finance validates balances and sample transactions.
- Cutover plan — freeze window agreed (typically a weekend or end-of-month).
- Production migration — runs into production while your team works read-only. Cutover usually under 4 hours.
Timeline
- Small (under 5,000 customers, 1 year history): 1–2 weeks.
- Medium (5,000–50,000 customers, 3+ years): 2–3 weeks.
- Large or multi-entity: 4–6 weeks with a dedicated PM.
Romanian fiscal compliance
VitalSpark preserves all fiscal documents in the form required by ANAF (Romanian tax authority). CIF/CUI mappings, invoice series, fiscal-year cutoffs migrated exactly as required.
